Job Overview
Join a well-established healthcare facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, as a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist. Verify medication orders, prepare pharmaceuticals, and provide drug-related education to staff and patients. Stay current on automated medication dispensing systems and ensure full compliance with protocols. This role offers 32 hours per week across variable shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately verify and prepare medications for patients, clinics, and employees.

  • Dispense pharmaceuticals following clinical protocols and safety standards.

  • Provide drug information and education to medical staff, patients, and families.

  • Utilize and monitor automated medication dispensing systems.

  • Adhere to hospital and departmental policies at all times.

  • Supervise support personnel as needed.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Current Massachusetts Pharmacist License (MAPHARM) required.
Experience:
