What You'll Do

As a Machine & Production Operator, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality brush products and components while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.


Responsibilities Include:
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and automated production machines.
  • Verify materials.
  • Keep machines supplied with materials and components.
  • Perform visual quality inspections and basic measurements using gauges, calipers, and other inspection tools.
  • Assemble, trim, bend, twist, solder, dip, wrap, crimp, or package products as required.
  • Accurately complete production paperwork and track production counts.
  • Identify and report machine issues, excessive scrap, or material shortages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in shift meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Available to work more hours if you choose.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and percentages.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior manufacturing, machine operation, assembly or production experience a plus.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as gauges, calipers, micrometers or comparators a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting, standing, walking, and moving throughout the production floor for most of the shift.
  • Frequent use of hands and repetitive motions.
  • Bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling materials.
  • Lifting materials up to 30 pounds on occasion.
  • Working around moving machinery and production equipment.
  • Visual inspection of products and materials.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing facility environment.
  • Exposure to loud machinery; hearing protection is required.
  • Safety glasses and other required PPE must be worn.
  • Temperature conditions may vary throughout the year.
