Luigi's Restaurant is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hardworking kitchen professional to join our team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality food, and works well as part of a team.
This is a hands-on position that requires flexibility to work in multiple kitchen stations as needed.
Responsibilities
Main Cook Line
- Operate the oven, broiler, and fryer while preparing multiple menu items efficiently.
- Plate finished dishes accurately and consistently while maintaining presentation standards.
- Prepare sauté dishes to recipe specifications in a fast-paced environment.
Pizza Bench Station
- Prepare pizza dough and toppings.
- Cook pizzas to quality standards.
- Cut, box, and prepare pizzas for dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders.
Grinder Bench Station
- Prepare fresh salads, cold appetizers, and sandwiches.
- Maintain food quality, portion consistency, and presentation.
- Keep prep areas stocked, clean, and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant kitchen experience required.
- Experience working on a cook line, pizza station, or similar fast-paced kitchen preferred.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Schedule
- Part-time position (approximately 20–30 hours per week).
- Day shifts, evening shifts, or a combination of both based on availability and business needs.
- Weekend availability is preferred.
