LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Come join us at Lourdes Noreen-McKeen Residence!  A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1960.   We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. 

We are seeking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse.

  • $28.06 per hour.
  • Part-Time and Perdiem only.

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Qualifications:

  • Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One year experience as a staff nurse in a hospital, long term care facility, or other medical care facility with at least 6 months supervisory experience.

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Job Summary:

  • Periodically review the resident's discharge plan and participates in its updating as required.
  • Complete accident/incident reports for submission to the Nursing Department by the end of your shift.
  • Make daily rounds of your unit to ensure that nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments.
  • Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
  • Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.
  • Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by the physician.
  • Notify the resident's attending physician and family member when there is a change in the resident's condition.
