What is a part time LPN surgical tech?

A Part Time LPN Surgical Tech is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who assists in surgical procedures while working fewer hours than a full-time position. They support surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the operating room by preparing surgical instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing patient care before, during, and after surgery. Their responsibilities may also include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety. Working part-time allows for a flexible schedule, making it an ideal role for those balancing other commitments.

As a part-time LPN Surgical Tech, you play a vital role in supporting surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures. You’ll be responsible for preparing and passing instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
