Job Overview
Shift differentials of $1.00 evenings and $1.50 nights
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care/Nursing Home and Transitional Care unit regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our welcoming Skilled Nursing Facility (TCU/LTC) in Lake City, MN
Nursing schedule includes;
  • 32 hours every 2 weeks (part-time)
  • Night shift; 8 hour shift
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation
  • Eligible for partial benefits and DHS SNF education scholarships

Lake City Care Center is nestled near the picturesque Lake Pepin in southeast Minnesota. As part of the esteemed Mayo Clinic Health System and managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota's leading senior living operator with a century-long commitment to exceptional service. Our skilled nursing facility can provide care for up to 90 residents across our Transitional Care and Long-term care units, supported by a dedicated team committed to Ebenezer's mission of fostering longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives through healing, discovery, and education. Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org)
Responsibilities:
  • Provides professional nursing cares and treatments
  • Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
  • Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status

Required:
  • MN LPN licensure
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
    • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
  • 0-1 years of experience
  • Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phones, and fax machines

Preferred:
  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • MS Office, Excel, and Word
  • Point Click Care knowledge
