Job description

Description

About Us:

RunBuggy is the most technically advanced automotive logistics platform on the market. Period.

Backed by Porsche Ventures and Hearst Ventures, RunBuggy is transforming the way cars move. Our cutting-edge technology is trusted by some of the largest OEMs, captive finance companies, and automotive lenders in the world to streamline vehicle transportation at scale.

RunBuggy's end-to-end platform connects car shippers and haulers in real time - eliminating the friction of traditional load boards and costly custom software. For shippers, RunBuggy integrates directly into existing management systems, reducing transportation costs and accelerating delivery timelines. For transporters, we offer a smarter, more profitable way to find, accept, and manage loads - all from a single app.

Since launching in 2019, RunBuggy has grown to over 190 team members, facilitated the movement of hundreds of thousands of vehicles, and attracted tens of thousands of transporters across the U.S.

We're not just building a better logistics platform - we're redefining the future of automotive transportation.

About the Role:

Having a personal vehicle transported can be a daunting transaction for the unfamiliar. Trusted by the biggest names in automotive, RunBuggy moves thousands of vehicles every week, including for many individual consumers who are relocating for the season, going away to college, or purchasing the collectable car of their dreams from the other side of the country. While the vast majority of orders move smoothly without external intervention, the Logistics Concierge I supports the RunBuggy customer base as their trusted advisor to educate them about what to expect with the experience, keep them informed along the way, and solve problems when exceptions arise that need a human to intervene.

The vehicles being transported are often unique, with special features and specifications. Some may have high monetary values, some may only have sentimental value, but all are important to the individuals having them moved. The ability to handle either of those situations is a key to success in this position.

In this role, you will interact directly with our customers. This position is responsible for providing top-notch problem-solving service to our customers (primarily individual consumers, along with pickup and drop-off locations) and coordinating with transporters through our platform, over the phone, on video calls, and using written communication (email and text).

This is a full-time, in office position (5 days per week) at our office located on Mill Avenue in the heart of Tempe, AZ. While some schedules may be Monday through Friday, employees in this role may be required to work Tuesdays through Saturdays or Sundays through Thursdays. Candidates must be able to commit to this in-office schedule, including the possibility of a weekend day.

If this sounds just like you, then please read on! if you feel this is not in your wheelhouse, that is okay too! We are actively hiring outstanding professionals, so we encourage you to apply to one of our many other opportunities.

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or in-platform communication ensuring pickups and deliveries are on schedule as it relates to orders handled through our cloud-native platform and smartphone app.
