Job Overview
This part-time will be approximately 8-12 per week, accomplished in 2-3 shifts of 4-hour duration. Rotational Saturday work is required (one out of every 2 or 3 Saturdays). Saturday Hours are 6:30 AM - Noon; Monday and Friday Hours begin at 8:30 AM.
Warehouse Customer Specialists take professional ownership of customers' inventory fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. Tasks include but are not limited to: computer-based order processing, physical retrieval of inventory, reorganization of stock, staging of inventory, and scheduling of inbound and outbound carriers.
Warehouse Customer Specialists accurately follow a supervisor's direction but also possess the ability to succeed with minimal oversight.
The Warehouse Customer Specialist Position is On-Location.
Responsibilities and Duties:
R&S Logistics Warehouse Customer Specialists have a wide variety of responsibilities and duties, including but not limited to:
  • Receiving, Processing, and Prioritization of Customer Inventory
  • Greeting the Public in a Courteous and Timely Manner
  • Loading, Unloading, Verifying Count & Condition of, Carefully Handling and Properly Storing Customer Inventory
  • Responding to Customer Inquiries
  • Collaborating with Warehouse Manager to Direct Warehouse Associates' Tasks
  • Actively Participating in Ongoing Training Programs with Satisfactory Results
  • Adhering to R&S Logistics' Standards of Quality and Customer Service
  • Safely Operating a Forklift and/or Order Picker
  • Assisting in Warehouse Maintenance & Improvements, Including Installation of Pallet Racking
  • Performing Duties Customarily Assigned to Warehouse Associates on an As-Needed Basis
  • Adhering to all Industry-Specific and Site-Specific Safety Requirements
  • Accurately Reporting Time Worked, Adhering to Clock-In/Clock-Out Procedures
  • Adhering to R&S Logistics' Employee Handbook
