Medical Doctors Only Apply. A Psychiatry Physician General Psychiatrist practice is seeking a qualified physician for OR. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. New locum tenens opportunity for a Psychiatrist located in Oregon. Our client has 2 physicians who are retiring and are targeting a locum tenens start date around June/July. The provider will help cover a 26 bed inpatient unit with an average daily census of 22-24. On average the provider will see 9-11 patients. Most cases are acutely mentally ill, schizophrenia, bipolar, depression and suicidal thoughts. Part time or full time availability will be considered. Schedule is Monday-Friday with some flexibility in start times as long as the provider can see their compliment of patients. Rarely will provider handle admissions. There is a call schedule that will come with additional compensation. They would be in need of 1 weekday call shift per week and 1 weekend call shift per month.
