Real Estate Processing Specialist II
LOCATION: Meridian DIVISION: CMXO
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
The Real Estate Processing Specialist will support the Real Estate Processing Department by processing Home Equity loans, reviewing income, home valuations, and reviewing title reports. This role plays an important part in providing best in class service to our members. This position will work in collaboration with other departments and partners.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Supervisor, Real Estate Processing
Supervises: none
Contacts: All levels of credit union employees, internal and external auditors, and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
      • 3 years' experience in loan processing, preferably in real estate lending.
      • Experience calculating W2 income and personal tax returns
      • Knowledge of real estate lending and processing with an understanding of loan to value calculations and document preparation.

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
Skills:
      • Must possess strong communication, organizational, presentation, member service and interpersonal skills.
      • Make sound decisions based upon department procedures, company guidelines and policies.
      • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while still being detailed and results oriented.
      • Demonstrates strong analytical/problem solving and time-management skills
      • Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Real estate origination systems

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Demonstrates Bellco's Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in other Bellco departments.

  1. Completes activities and SLA goals associated with Real Estate - Processing. Responsible for the thorough review and documentation of loan documents provided by the members and 3rd party vendors to satisfy required conditions which includes income documents, title, and appraisal reports.

  1. Manages and distributes loan conditions which are received through a variety of channels

  1. Daily communication with members, via their channel of choice, to provide updates and expectations throughout the loan process.

  1. Educate members on Home Equity products and assist members with all inquiries. Offers other products and services that meet members financial needs.

  1. Utilize internal reports and dashboards to maintain required service levels and ensure all daily tasks are completed.

  1. Work in collaboration with other team members in Home Equity and other business areas.

  1. Prepare and participate in regular pipeline reviews with management to ensure daily tasks are met.

  1. Assist with coverage for co-workers to maintain member communication and processes to meet service level agreements.

  1. Contact vendors as needed to clarify data and reports received to thoroughly process loan.

  1. Ensure compliance with regulatory, and Agency requirements including but not limited to RESPA, Homeowner's Protections Act of 1998, SCRA, Fair Credit Legislation, HMDA, and CFPB.

  1. Deliver best in class member experience within all loan channels and points of contact.

  1. Regular and punctual attendance.
