LMSWs hold a master's degree in social work and are licensed to provide social services, counseling, and support to individuals, families, or groups. In part-time roles, LMSWs may work in settings such as hospitals, schools, or private practices, helping clients with mental health, social, or emotional issues. To thrive as a Part Time LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), you need a master’s degree in social work, state licensure, and a strong understanding of clinical assessment and intervention strategies. Familiarity with case management systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and evidence-based therapeutic modalities is often required. Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities help build trust and effectively support clients.
