Job description

Linden Court is looking for a compassionate, energetic team member to join our Life Enrichment department in a unique shared role with our Therapy team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with seniors while providing hands-on support that helps residents maintain their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Primary Department: Life Enrichment
Secondary Department: Therapy

ResponsibilitiesLife Enrichment
  • Assist with planning and leading engaging activities for residents.
  • Encourage resident participation and social interaction.
  • Help prepare activity materials and decorate for special events.
  • Escort residents to and from activities.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
  • Assist with documentation and other department duties as assigned.
Therapy Support
  • Assist the Therapy team with transporting and transferring residents in wheelchairs.
  • Complete light housekeeping and laundry tasks for the therapy department.
  • Clean and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas.
  • Support therapists with daily department operations while maintaining resident safety and comfort.
Qualifications
  • Compassionate, dependable, and positive attitude.
  • Enjoy working with older adults.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to safely assist residents with mobility following training.
  • Ability to lift, push, and transport wheelchairs as needed.
  • Previous healthcare or senior living experience is helpful but not required.
