Full Life Care - Part Time Occupational Therapist
to join our team!
This role pays $45 to $60 per hour DOE with many unique perks and benefits you'll love!!
Our Occupational Therapist supports clients' well-being, independence, and functional abilities by providing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic groups in Adult Day Health. This role also collaborates closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and high-quality program delivery.
Our Occupational Therapist:
  • Assesses client needs by performing individual evaluations.
  • Aids in the development of individual treatment plans.
  • Develops a safe, therapeutic group environment for our clients and team.
  • Promotes client independence, education and recreation by developing and facilitating activities that meet their abilities, needs, and interests.
  • Monitors progress toward service goals by working with client, caregiver and team.
  • Maintains continuity of care among team members and other client partners.
  • Contributes to staff and client safety by developing and facilitating staff training focused on fall prevention, transfers and back safety.
  • Coordinates and facilititates a walking program for our clients.
  • Analyzes the quality of programs offered and provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Trains team members on effective, safe, and fun therapeutic group activities.
  • Maintains required documentation to meet WAC guidelines and/or Full Life Care policy.
  • Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Full Life Care and Transforming Age and our Culture of Excellence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:
  • Must be licensed in Washington state as an Occupational Therapist and have one or more years of experience in a health or social services setting.
  • Must have valid CPR certification and complete the HIV/AIDS information course.
  • Team Members are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless granted a medical or religious exemption.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
