Job description

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests while delivering an exceptional hospitality experience. This role also ensures accurate cashout procedures and maintains a clean, organized bar environment.

This is a part time, non-benefits eligible, hourly position. This is a tipped position with a base wage of $15.00 per hour. Position is typically active April through October. 

There is no guaranteed minimum for hours scheduled.  Schedule is based on business demands.  Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilites

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to established recipes. 
  • Greet guests warmly and provide excellent, efficient service. 
  • Accurately process payments, manage tabs, and follow cashout procedures. 
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines. 
  • Restock bar supplies, inventory, and glassware as needed. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. 
  • Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff for smooth operations. 
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience preferred. 
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. 
  • Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service. 
  • Valid 1st Class alcohol server certification or become certified upon hiring

Physical Demands: 

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must physically be able to lift 10-20 lbs. numerous times during the day. Requires frequent walking and long periods of time standing.
