Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking Student Assistant for the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities in Jupiter, FL.


Florida Atlantic University's Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (CARD) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant (Undergraduate Research Assistant) to support the Autism Program Executive Director with research initiatives and material development. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in autism research while contributing to projects that support individuals with autism and related disabilities. The role combines in-person work at the FAU Jupiter College of Education Building with remote work.


Summary of Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Autism Program Executive Director with autism-related research projects.
  • Conduct literature reviews and university library research to support program initiatives.
  • Assist with the development, organization, and preparation of research and educational materials.
  • Create and edit documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and survey-related activities.
  • Utilize AI tools and technology to support research and content development.
  • Perform other job-related and administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 3.0 GPA required.
