Description
Student workers will help lead, teach, and assist groups of 6-8 students in grades 2-5 for the elementary camp and grades 6 and 7 for the middle school camp. We will be hosting the camps in a variety of campus locations (inside and outside) while completing many activities. Patience and a desire to work with elementary and middle school students is a must.
Examples of Duties
  • Supervision & Safety
  • Supervise elementary and middle school-aged campers at all times to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during both indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Enforce camp rules and handle minor disciplinary issues with a positive and supportive approach.
  • Report accidents, injuries, or incidents to senior staff or camp director promptly.
  • Activity Facilitation Assist in leading and facilitating daily STEAM activities, experiments, projects, and group games.
  • Help set up and clean up materials for each activity.
