MTC is proud to operate the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in Reno, NV where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people's lives and we want YOU to join our team!
What you will be doing: You'll be responsible for coordinating the advanced training recruitment, marketing, scheduling and reviewing all applicants and applicant qualifications, in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential Functions:
  1. Promote and recruit students to enter advanced career training programs after completing after completing their basic Career Technical Training (CTT), including enrollment in college.
  2. Assist student in attaining financial aid, monitor student progress while enrolled, and provide support services.
  3. Conduct evaluation of student progress in CIS
  4. Conduct interviews with student applicants to understand their skill capabilities and if they meet standards requirements.
  5. Coordinate with center national training contractors to obtain recruitment support from them.
  6. Serve as chairperson of the career management team for assigned caseloads. Coordinate termination of ACT students.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four (4) years of experience working with youth required.
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
