Job description

Landscape Gardener Position for an established landscape company with high profile commercial clients and residential accounts, in business for over 36 years, based in Easton and Plymouth, MA. This position is full time however consideration will be made to candidates interested in part-time, flexible hours. The Landscape Gardener will lead a small enhancement field crew members and work independently. Valid driver's license required.

Our Gardener position is an opportunity for you to work with one of the leading landscape companies in the area. In this position, you will focus on providing an outstanding client experience while sharing your horticulture expertise to our clients while working with a small crew. You will be responsible for recommendations to our clients, and you will work closely with other team members to provide proposals on flower/plant design. You will be responsible for the successful execution of sold enhancements and plant maintenance that is specific to garden design, installation and maintenance. In addition, you may meet regularly with prospective clients, property managers and existing residential and commercial clients, to foster new business relationships and execute new landscape enhancement projects.

  • 3-5 YEARS of horticulture, pruning and maintenance experience, with strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs. Backgrounds in nurseries a plus.

  • Oversees the health and appearance of ornamental shrub beds at client properties as assigned. Proactively identifies potential issues and the appropriate mitigation.
  • Performs bed maintenance, weeding and light mulching as assigned.
  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail.
  • Works with property managers/clients to ensure satisfaction and manages concerns, responds appropriately to questions as they arise from property managers/clients.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and ability and passion to learn new technologies. All work is assigned through computer program called Service Auto Pilot and this position is required to utilize field app for accurate tracking of all work.
  • Able to work both independently and with a team; creates a positive work environment for others. Attend meetings as assigned both internally and with clients.
