CATHOLIC MUSIC DIRECTOR - Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida

Location: Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $150-$175 per week (based on experience and qualifications)
Service Commitment: Approximately 2-2.5 hours per week, including rehearsal, preparation, and Mass support.

Adams1and1 Consulting Services, LLC is seeking a qualified Catholic Music Director to support the Catholic worship community at Tyndall Air Force Base. The selected candidate will provide musical leadership for weekly Masses, rehearsals, Holy Days, and other special liturgical celebrations.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate weekly music selections with the Catholic Priest/Chaplain.
Lead and accompany Catholic worship services and rehearsals.
Prepare and distribute music to volunteers at least 72 hours before rehearsal.
Lead congregational singing and collaborate with other musicians as required.
Support special liturgical events, Holy Days, funerals, and seasonal observances.
Arrive prior to rehearsals and services to ensure readiness and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum three years of college-level education in music, desired or qualified professional experience.
At least two years of congregational worship leadership experience.
Proficiency in piano and/or guitar, including sight-reading and accompaniment.
Ability to sing and lead congregational worship.
Active practicing Roman Catholic familiar with the Mass and Catholic liturgical traditions.
Knowledge of Catholic liturgical, traditional, and contemporary worship music.
Mature Roman Catholic with a demonstrated personal relationship with God.
Must provide Letter of Good Standing


Selection Process:
Candidates must successfully complete an interview and audition with Chapel Staff prior to start date.
