Job description

We are seeking full-time and part-time Concrete Finishers and Laborers to join our team in Weaverville. You will be a vital part of a medium-sized team responsible for essential tasks in concrete construction projects. This role involves hands-on work in site preparation, formwork setup, and concrete pouring, often requiring frequent travel to multiple job sites. The position offers great opportunities for skill development and career growth, including advancement to Foreman or Supervisor roles through targeted training and experience.

We are open to full-time and part-time applicants! Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces
  • Use hand and power tools to shape and finish concrete
  • Apply curing and sealing compounds to protect finished surfaces
  • Install expansion joints and edges
  • Operate heavy equipment such as power trowels and screeds
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and specifications
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
  • Set up formwork accurately to prepare for concrete placement
  • Prepare construction sites by cleaning, leveling, and organizing materials
  • Pour and spread concrete according to project specifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in construction labor
  • Experience as a Concrete Finisher is a big plus!!
  • Familiarity with formwork installation
  • Ability to assist with site cleanup
