Warehouse Lead amp; Quality Control
IFSI is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Lead amp; Quality Control Associate in Namps, ID. The Warehouse Lead amp; Quality Control Associate is expected to be a self-starter with a strong sense of determination, taking a leadership role in this crucial part of our business. In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and seed treatment activities while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures. Will assist the Operations amp; QC Manager in all seed conditioning. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess experience in seed production and demonstrate the ability to efficiently manage tasks and personnel.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Operations amp; QC Manager with the day-to-day seed processing and handling activities.
  • Manage the processing of work orders to ensure accurate documentation and inventory tracking of all seed lots
  • Manage the plant and packaging activities of all seed receiving, treating, packaging and distribution
  • Assist with all seed conditioning activities
  • Manage all inventory audits and discards
  • Manage the shipping of customer orders based on customers' individual order requirements
  • Maintain seed lot integrity throughout the storage, processing, treatment, and shipping operations
  • Assist with maintaining, utilizing, and developing seed testing protocols
  • Assist with collecting samples for any lab testing and quality assurance purposes
  • Assist as needed with building, equipment and tool maintenance
  • Assist as needed with onsite upkeep of facility grounds and infrastructure
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of workplace safety policies and best practices
  • Assist with ordering parts, tools, and operational supplies
  • Manage the warehouse and treating teams
  • Assist in managing seasonal and part-time labor
Qualifications/Knowledge Needed:
  • Previous experience in seed production or related field, a BS in Agriculture or Crop Science is beneficial
  • Proficiency in gathering, recording, and reporting data
  • Ability to obtain a fumigation and treatment license
  • Ability to obtain a forklift license
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to obtain an ISTA seed certification
  • Strong work ethic focused on productivity, accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed, generally up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk and perform field-related tasks for extended periods
  • Capable of working long hours/weekends during critical seasonal periods

  • Salary: This position has an annual salary range of $55 - $65K. Actual pay is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity
