Job description

Part-Time Position – Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to pick up shifts and cover vacations, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on attendance and performance.

This route can be physically demanding and requires consistent lifting of paper boxes, along with extensive walking throughout the shift.

Straight Truck Driver (NON CDL) Description

A Straight Truck Driver (NON CDL) driver's job is to deliver items to their intended destination in a timely and professional manner.

Picking up and delivering: Courier drivers pick up packages from the sender and deliver them to the recipient.

Following routes: Courier drivers follow a specific route within their delivery area.

Meeting deadlines: Courier drivers must meet delivery deadlines.

Maintaining safety: Courier drivers must follow all traffic laws and safety regulations. They must also ensure the safety of packages, especially frozen or perishable items.

Communicating: Courier drivers communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members. They also provide customer service to clients.

Completing paperwork: Courier drivers complete paperwork related to deliveries and reports as required.

Performing basic maintenance: Courier drivers may perform basic truck maintenance, such as refueling and visual inspections.

Collecting payments: Courier drivers may collect payments from customers.

Reporting issues: Courier drivers report any delivery issues or concerns to their supervisor or relevant parities including but not limited to, Safety Director, HR Director, law enforcement, etc.

Essential Functions

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be a legal resident of the United States.

Must have a valid driver's license that is in good standing and safe driving record

Must pass and maintain Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) record check and adhere to standards

Must pass and adhere to criminal background standards

Ability to obtain and maintain Medical Examiner’s Certificate (FedMed card)

Pallet jack experience preferred; forklift experience preferred

Ability to obtain and maintain pallet jack and forklift certification

Adhere to post accident drug testing requirements

Must be able to drive in all-weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, etc.)

Must be able and willing to maneuver up to 50lbs. regularly and 150 lbs. occasionally.

Must be able and willing to kneel, squat, climb ladders/stairs

Must be able to drive for extended periods of time.
