Job description

Department: Operating Room
Work Hours: Part-time. M-F daylight hours

The Anesthesia Technician/OR Tech will coordinate their activities under the direction of the Director Surgical Services, Lead Anesthesia/OR Technician, Chief CRNA and MDAs. They will work in collaboration with all CRNAs and Operating Room, OB, GI Lab, and Cardiology Nursing Leadership. Their role is to perform the daily cleaning and stocking of all areas of the hospital where anesthesia is administered as well as the Operating Room. In addition they will assist with room turnover between cases.

Requirements 
High school graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of basic sterile technique, medical terminology. Upholds Heritage Valley Health System’s values of Ethical Behavior, Responsibility, Compassion, Collaboration, Proficiency, and Service Excellence.

Preferred
Computer knowledge, hospital experience.
