Join Utah Valley University and support one of the nation's premier emergency services training organizations through a role that is essential to the success of statewide training, academic programs, and special events. This position provides hands-on experience in transportation, logistics, inventory management, and operational support while working closely with staff and faculty to ensure training equipment, tools, supplies, and props are delivered where and when they are needed. The work directly contributes to the success of emergency responder training programs that serve communities throughout Utah.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Secures and schedules equipment, manpower, supplies, and tools associated with classes, organization operations, events, and activities.
- Acquires supplies to ensure the efficient and uninterrupted operations of the Logistics division. Reports any damage, defects, failures, or safety hazards to the supervisor, and takes appropriate action as advised.
- Prepares and delivers supplies with appropriate approvals, props, equipment, and tools as necessary for training classes, academic classes, standard operations, and organization events.
- Enters and updates data associated with inventory control, scheduling, and maintenance of equipment.
- Acquires and/or maintains certifications required to perform various duties, including but not limited to forklift operations, proper repair of turnout gear, maintenance of SCBAs, etc.
- Assists with training ground maintenance with respect to snow removal, general repairs, installations, and refurbishments.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
- Graduated with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of experience related to the summary of duties.
- Class A CDL License.

Knowledge
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of mechanical operations, standard repair procedures and techniques, and hydraulic systems.
