Overview
The Dishwasher is responsible for the sanitation of all kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, dishware, glassware and silverware and disposal of trash. The Dishwasher is also responsible for the cleanliness of all back of house areas including sanitization and maintenence of equipment, shelving, tabletops, floors, walls, and more. Dishwashers will assist in pulling and staging all equipment prior to set-up, during the event and during clean-up. Dishwashers are expected to stay composed and flexible in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong initiative and teamwork to ensure event success.
This role will pay a flat hourly rate of $14.00-$16.00.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dish machine equipment & wash any items not dishwasher safe by hand.
  • Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk.
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly storage areas for kitchen equipment and supplies.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils or equipment in proper storage areas.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, such as dishwashers, garbage disposals and ovens.
  • Assist on plate-up, food production line as needed.
  • Sort and remove trash or compost and clean after usage.
  • Sweep and/or scrub all floors in the kitchen and back of house areas.
  • Clean up spills and/or breakage on the event and kitchen floors.
  • Ensures compliance with health, sanitation, safety and employment regulations in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends, with availability for some morning, noon, and evening shifts on an on-call/event-based schedule.
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related food service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card through ServeSafe and any other required compliance trainings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with employees, management, and guests in a professional and respectful manner.
