Job description

The Citadel at Kingsbridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is currently seeking for Housekeeping for Per-Diem to join our dynamic organization.

JOB DUTIES:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains a high level of cleanliness &safety throughout designated areas
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and inworking condition at all times
  • Removal of trash & soiled linens
  • Keeping the residentas environment clean at alltimes
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors, dustingfurniture, emptying trash, clean and disinfect showers and bathrooms
  • Reports equipment/cleaning product needs and ormalfunctions to supervisor
  • Follows infection control and universal precautionspolicies and procedures to ensure that a sanitary environment is maintained atall times.
  •  Keep all housekeeping equipment, storage areas,janitoras closets, and housekeeping carts clean and uncluttered, and free ofany hazardous equipment and supplies
  • Report all accidents/ incidents to theAdministrator on the day of occurrence, along with important residentobservations

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:

A        Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent

A        1 or more yearsa experience in housekeepingduties in a long-term health care setting
