Anago Commercial Cleaning is growing in Gainesville, Ocala, and The Villages Florida and we’re hiring experienced commercial cleaners who are ready to build something long-term with a team that values quality, consistency, and professionalism.

We’re also looking for a Day-to-Day Lead to help oversee account service and ensure every location is cleaned at or above the Anago standard—on time, every time.

What You’ll Do (Cleaning Tech Duties)

  • Perform commercial/industrial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, and maintain hygiene standards

  • Empty trash and dispose of waste properly

  • Dust and wipe surfaces (desks, tables, windowsills, etc.)

  • Maintain common areas (hallways, lobbies, breakrooms)

  • Operate cleaning equipment (buffers, etc.) as needed

  • Follow safety protocols and use PPE when required

  • Assist with light facilities tasks when appropriate (minor replacements/quick fixes)

Day-to-Day Lead Responsibilities (Additional)

  • Serve as the on-site lead for assigned accounts in The Villages

  • Ensure accounts are serviced on schedule and to Anago quality standards

  • Communicate issues quickly (supply needs, site concerns, quality checks)

  • Help train and support new team members on site expectations

  • Confirm work is completed thoroughly before leaving the account

  • Professional communication and team-lead experience

Qualifications (Required / Preferred)

Required:

  • Prior commercial cleaning/janitorial experience (preferred strongly; required for Lead consideration)

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Proof of insurance (auto and/or as applicable for work assignments)

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in thorough work

  • Strong time management and reliability

Preferred / Plus Skills:

  • Experience with floor care (buffers, scrubbers, etc.)

  • Strip & seal experience is a major plus

  • Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
