Course:Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) I

An introduction to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including the various tools, artifacts, and delivery practices will be explored. An overview of team process infrastructure and resource estimation to support appropriate levels of quality is discussed. Traditional system and software delivery methodologies as well as agile and lean delivery methodologies will be discoursed. This course will be comprised of several individual, in-class, and group projects that implement the practices reviewed.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

Preferred: Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MBA or related discipline with 3 or more years related work experience in Java, C# or Python and 3 or more years of experience with Agile project management experience.

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in degrees listed above with 5 or more years of related work experience in Java, C# or Python and 5 or more years of experience with Agile project management experience.
