Registered Nurse (RN) - Admissions & Testing (1C)

Part Time, 5:30am - 2:00pm  (two 8-hour shifts per week, no weekends/holidays), 

Call Rotation: three call shifts (7p-11p) within a 6 week period

The Admissions and Testing Nurse is responsible for Admissions and Phase II recovery for Springfield Memorial's Cardiac Procedures (Cath Lab, CVOR)

Qualifications

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

  • Licensed as RN in State of Illinois.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
  • Strongly prefer 2 years of nursing experience 

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing.  Must be able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections.
  • Environmental working conditions include exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue, contagious diseases and/or radioactive or other potentially hazardous materials.
