Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Inventory & Merchandising Coordinator to support our Used Inventory Department. This role is responsible for helping maintain inventory quality, coordinating vehicle merchandising efforts, monitoring reconditioning progress, and ensuring vehicles are presented at the highest standard for our customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently, and excels at coordinating multiple tasks in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Merchandising 

● Ensure quality vehicle photos are taken and uploaded in a timely manner.

● Manage online vehicle merchandising using company-provided software.

● Assist with inventory placement and lot organization to maximize vehicle visibility and presentation.

● Stock in newly arrived inventory and ensure vehicles are properly accounted for.

 ● Inspect aged inventory and identify opportunities for improvement to increase marketability.

● Identify cosmetic and product-related issues and coordinate corrective actions when needed.

Reconditioning Coordination 

● Monitor reconditioning workflow to ensure vehicles are prioritized appropriately.

● Work closely with the reconditioning department to improve efficiency and turnaround times.

 ● Inspect completed vehicles to verify quality standards have been met before being offered for sale.

● Coordinate outside service requests and arrange transportation when necessary. Administrative Support

● Maintain organized inventory files and records.

● Manage key organization and inventory tracking.

● Prepare and complete sold order packets.

● Assist with various inventory-related administrative

Qualifications

● Strong organizational and time management skills.

● Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

● Excellent attention to detail.

● Strong communication and coordination abilities.

● Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.

● Previous automotive, inventory, logistics, merchandising, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
