Job description

Lincoln University invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor position in the Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice for the Fall 2026 semester. This is an in-person teaching position on Lincoln University's main campus in Lincoln University, Pennsylvania.
The successful candidate will teach one or more in-person undergraduate Criminal Justice courses, including:
  • Crime Scene Investigation (Forensic Science)
  • Criminal Investigation
Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned undergraduate Criminal Justice courses.
  • Prepare and deliver course content consistent with departmental learning outcomes.
  • Assess student learning and maintain accurate records of student performance.
  • Hold appropriate office hours and communicate effectively with students.
  • Submit grades and course-related materials in accordance with university policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Forensic Science, Public Administration, Sociology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in criminal investigations, forensic science, crime scene investigation, law enforcement, or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College-level teaching experience.
  • Professional experience in law enforcement, criminal investigations, forensic science, crime scene processing, corrections, or related criminal justice fields.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
