Role description:
Arcadis' New York office is seeking an experienced Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic Workplace team, contributing to a range of high-profile projects. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will support and contribute to projects throughout the design process from concept to completion with supervision. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills that allow you to do effective research, collect data as well and present your analysis. We are seeking a candidate who enjoys working in a project environment with strong time management skills to meet deadlines and who also has the confidence to ask questions and bring barriers to the project's success to the project leaders' attention.
Role accountabilities:
  • Support the design team in developing workplace interiors concepts and documentation.
  • Assist with:
    • FF&E selection and coordination
    • Drafting and detailing
    • Specifications support
    • Presentation materials and layout development
    • Rendering and visualization
  • Prepare design packages, finish boards, furniture plans, and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to client presentations, internal reviews, and design development efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior designers, architects, and project managers to maintain design quality and project schedules.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience or strong interest in workplace interiors design.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Revit
    • InDesign
    • Rendering / visualization tools
    • Drafting and detailing
  • Knowledge of FF&E, materials, and specifications.
  • Strong graphic, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $59,000 - $89,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
