What are some common challenges faced in a part-time insurance verification role and how can they be managed?

A common challenge in part-time insurance verification is keeping up with frequent changes in insurance policies and provider requirements, which can affect the accuracy of patient coverage information. Additionally, managing high call volumes or tight turnaround times may be demanding, especially when working reduced hours. Effective time management, strong attention to detail, and regular communication with both providers and colleagues help ensure verifications are completed accurately and efficiently.
