Job Description Summary
The successful applicant will be expected to assist faculty/staff with quality instruction in all phases and related areas including but not limited to safety. Demonstrate knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline. Assist faculty with assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need. Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction. Assist in development and use of a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes. Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Assist in evaluating students to measure their progress toward achievement of stated course outcomes. Review, evaluate, recommend, and effectively use student learning materials.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum five (5) years documented work experience in Instrumentation.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong organizational skills.
Strong computer skills.
Must possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective Skilled Trainer and the aptitudes to assist both new and returning students achieve their educational goals and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Instrumentation preferred.
Experience teaching college level courses.
Experience in providing quality instruction in all phases and related areas including but not limited to safety.
Knowledge of and commitment to teaching strategies and methods which enhance student success.
Ability to teach and communicate with students of varied multicultural backgrounds.
