Description
The Integrated Design & Media (IDM) Program in the Department of Technology, Culture and Society at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering accepts applications on a rolling basis for part-time, non-tenured (adjunct) instructors.
Qualifications
We invite applicants to teach one or more graduate or undergraduate courses for our core and elective classes. Please refer to the NYU Bulletin for a list of our classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We welcome applicants with ideas for special topic courses to submit proposals in their cover letter.
You should be an excellent teacher with a student-focused pedagogical style. Ony applicants with a graduate degree (Masters, PhD) or a college degree (BS, BA, BFA) and ten years of relevant professional experience will be considered. Applicants with a hybrid academic or professional background (e.g. art/design and engineering/science) are especially encouraged to apply.
You must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States, NYU is not an E-verified employer. Compensation is in accordance with NYU's bargaining agreement with ACT-UAW Local 7902.

Additional Information
