The Part-Time Makerspace Instructor will be responsible for guiding students in K-12 schools through hands-on projects and activities related to 3D printing, laser printing, robotics, and other emerging technologies. The Part-Time Makerspace Instructor will engage with students across different age groups and educational backgrounds, fostering an environment that encourages experimentation, innovation, and critical thinking. They will work closely with Concorde Education's Curriculum Development Team to design and deliver lessons that are aligned with the custom-tailored curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Delivery: Implement and adapt Concorde Education's custom tailored curriculum for makerspace activities, ensuring alignment with relevant educational standards.
  2. Technology Management: Operate, maintain, and provide training on various makerspace tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and other fabrication tools.
  3. Student Engagement: Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment, enabling students to work on individual and group projects.
  4. Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback, making necessary adjustments to meet individual learning needs.
