JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, Park Avenue Center Drivers provide excellent customer service in all functional areas of their work which includes regular interaction with clients, Park Avenue Center employees, and the surrounding community. Providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services in our fifteen passenger vans is the first priority of this position. Other duties may include vehicle maintenance, light grounds keeping responsibilities (i.e. trash removal from buildings, salting for ice, etc.), and occasional clerical work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Transport clients and Park Avenue Center Employees to and from the treatment centers, court appointments, and other approved activities;
  2. Execute daily interior and exterior vehicle inspection including maintaining appropriate gas levels, cleanliness, checking tire pressure, etc.;
  3. Coordinate other vehicle maintenance including oil changes and alert the Maintenance Supervisor of additional service needs;
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed driver log by noting relevant events and any and all changes in vehicle condition throughout each shift;
  5. Examine the properties and parking lots each shift to maintain facility cleanliness;
  6. Perform light clerical work as necessary (i.e. entering data entry, filing, or copying);
  7. Receive incoming phone calls and transfer to appropriate staff members;
  8. Greet and direct clients and visitors while transferring client belongings to residences;
  9. Maintain positive public relations with referring agencies and businesses in the community;
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Possess a valid Driver's License or have the ability to procure one in a timely manner
  2. Able to lift 15 lbs. regularly and 40 lbs. occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation;

Additional information
This is a part-time position averaging 29 hours or less per week with shifts available from 7:00am-1:00pm Monday-Friday and weekends. Some shifts also available from 12:30pm to 6:00pmThe starting wage is $17.50/hour.
