Job description

Wright Family Law Group is seeking a responsible, dependable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Brand Vehicle & Event Coordinator to oversee the transportation, scheduling, appearance, and public presentation of the firm's vintage 1970 Cadillac Miller-Meteor hearse, affectionately known as "Morticia."

Morticia is more than a vehicle. She is a highly visible marketing asset, community engagement tool, event vehicle, content creation platform, and occasional conversation starter. Her job is to help make Wright Family Law Group unforgettable.
We are seeking someone who understands that driving a vintage hearse to a car show, community event, courthouse, or marketing appearance requires equal parts professionalism, reliability, logistics, and good judgment.
This is not a rideshare position, delivery position, or traditional chauffeur role. It is a unique opportunity to help manage one of the most unusual and recognizable brand assets in Massachusetts legal marketing.
Position Summary
The Morticia Manager is responsible for ensuring that Morticia remains safe, clean, mechanically sound, professionally presented, and ready for scheduled appearances throughout Massachusetts.
This role focuses on vehicle operations, logistics, scheduling, event support, and public-facing representation of the firm.
Marketing strategy, branding decisions, advertising campaigns, and creative direction remain the responsibility of firm leadership and the marketing team.
Primary Responsibilities
Vehicle Transportation & Operations

  • Safely transport Morticia to scheduled appearances, events, content shoots, and promotional activities
  • Operate the vehicle in a safe, professional, and responsible manner
  • Park and stage the vehicle appropriately at appearances and events
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after use
  • Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report problems to her mechanic
  • Coordinate maintenance appointments, inspections, repairs, detailing, and vendor services
  • Assist with towing and transportation logistics when necessary
  • Coordinate seasonal storage and winterization

Event Coordination & Scheduling

  • Maintain Morticia's seasonal appearance calendar
  • Coordinate logistics for events and public appearances
  • Assist with setup and breakdown at events
  • Coordinate with firm staff, vendors, and event organizers
  • Ensure Morticia arrives on time, clean, and presentation-ready
  • Track upcoming maintenance, registration, insurance, and inspection deadlines

Public Appearances & Brand Support

  • Represent Wright Family Law Group professionally during public appearances
  • Assist with community outreach events and marketing activities
  • Support photography and video production involving Morticia
  • Help coordinate content creation days and promotional appearances
  • Interact professionally with members of the public, event organizers, and prospective clients
  • Serve as an ambassador for the firm's brand and community presence

Client Transportation (Occasional)

  • Occasionally transport clients to and from court, mediation, firm events, or other legal proceedings when requested by the firm
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming environment for passengers
  • Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate
  • Coordinate transportation schedules with firm staff

Examples of Appearances
Morticia may appear at:

  • Car shows
  • Community festivals
  • Charity events
  • Trunk-or-Treat events
  • Parades
  • Marketing content shoots
  • Firm-sponsored events
  • Strategic high-visibility placements
  • Media appearances
  • Other promotional opportunities throughout Massachusetts

Seasonal Activities

Must possess a sense of humor.

During Halloween season, the successful candidate may be asked to portray "Lurch," assist with themed events, participate in community appearances, and help Morticia make appropriately dramatic public appearances.

The ability to embrace the spirit of the role while maintaining professionalism is important.
