Job description

This position is good opportunity for an individual looking for some extra income on a part-time basis, 2 to 3 days per week. Ideal candidate can be a summer help looking for extra cash or someone looking for a part-time income. This is a flex schedule position but deliveries will tend to be Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to sit for long periods, frequently bend, lift, and carry 60 lbs max using dollies or hand trucks

Responsibilities:

Adhere strictly to local, state, and federal traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols

Safely pack and secure cargo, packages, or food, and unload them at designated drop-off points

Reviews and verifies invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy

Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, handle complaints, and obtain signatures or process payments when required

Determines placement of merchandise, follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries, and conducts safety reviews.

Perform routine visual inspections, refuel, and report maintenance issues to ensure the vehicle remains in safe, working condition

Maintain accurate delivery logs, track mileage, and complete required paperwork
