Your Responsibilities
โ€ข Conduct onsite inspections at commercial, residential, and infrastructure project locations to ensure compliance with erosion and sediment control regulations
โ€ข Issue detailed inspection reports with corrective actions and timelines
โ€ข Work directly with contractors, project managers, and site operators to troubleshoot erosion control issues and develop solutions
โ€ข Assess the environmental impact of construction activities on wetlands, streams, and sensitive areas
โ€ข Provide technical expertise and answer client inquiries about erosion and sediment control best practices
โ€ข Ensure compliance with all municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulations
โ€ข Maintain all required certifications, training, and compliance records
โ€ข Occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines
Who We Are Looking For
โ€ข At least one year of experience in erosion and sediment control inspection, design, or installation
โ€ข Strong background in environmental sciences, water resources, or related technical fields
โ€ข Ability to identify compliance issues and recommend effective solutions
โ€ข Excellent communication and client management skills
โ€ข Physically capable of walking rough terrain, working in all weather conditions, and driving between job sites
โ€ข Strong problem-solving, planning, and critical-thinking skills
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
โ€ข Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record
Additional Assets That Make You Stand Out
