Job Description
Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing with attention to detail.
Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to prevent decay.
Take and interpret dental X-rays as necessary.
Screen patients for oral diseases including gum disease, cavities, and oral cancer.
Assist dentists with patient oral health assessments and communicate findings effectively.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and smoking cessation for optimal health.
Maintain thorough patient records, documenting treatments and updates accurately.
Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols, including sterilization of instruments.
Prepare and maintain dental equipment before and after procedures.
Collaborate closely with the dental team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Manage patient scheduling and assist with ordering dental supplies.
Salary Range
Part-time $72,400 - $92,500 per year

Shift & Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday โ 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are closed.
Maternity coverage available from December 2025 through February 2026.
Requirements
- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) licensure in the state.
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Current CPR certification.
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, infection control, and dental radiography.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferences
1 to 2 years of experience in a clinical dental setting.
Familiarity with dental practice management and medical scheduling software.
