Job description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Evaluate therapeutic needs of clients and develop personalized treatment plans.- Provide individual, couples or family counseling in accordance with the clientโ€™s personalized treatment plan.

- Conduct psycho-social assessments for each client to show clinical relevance of treatment.

- Implement empirically supported treatment strategies and accurately and professionally document interventions and client progress in a timely manner.

- Must be comfortable maintaining a diverse caseload, to include adults, youth (13 and up), couples, and families.

- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local licensing requirements (to include continuing education) and mandatory reporting procedures.

-Participate in community outreach & engagement events.

-Perform other duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS-EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS:

-Clinical Masterโ€™s in Social Work or Counseling.

-Must be licensed eligible or hold an LCSW or LPC license in the State of Virginia.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS-EXPERIENCE AND SKILL

- Must possess exceptional language and communication skills

- Must possess exceptional clinical documentation skills and be able to manage both verbal and written correspondence in compliance with HIPAA protocol

- Must possess basic computer skills and type 25+ w.p.m. for the input of clinical documentation using electronic record

- Must have experience using various treatment modalities appropriate for all life stages across a diverse range of specified populations

- Must be comfortable working with individuals, couples, families, and youth across a diverse age range In-office and via Telehealth

- Must be able to work as a team member in a collaborative environment

Job Types: Part-time, Independent Contractor

Pay range: $45-$65 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • Master's Level

License/Certification:
