Job description

Inspired Sustainment & Logistics LLC (ISL LLC) seeks a dependable Independent Medical Courier Driver for a dedicated daily regional route transporting medical specimens between Holloman AFB, NM, and Fort Bliss (El Paso, TX). This part-time, independent contractor role is critical to ensuring timely and secure delivery of healthcare specimens, maintaining chain-of-custody, and adhering to all security and temperature control regulations. The solo driver will use their personal climate-controlled vehicle to perform pickups and deliveries Monday through Friday in the afternoons.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled daily pickups of government-sealed medical laboratory containers at Holloman AFB
  • Transport specimens safely and directly to William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss
  • Maintain strict chain-of-custody logs and specimen temperature integrity during transit
  • Comply with military base traffic and security regulations
  • Wear company-provided identification and maintain professional appearance
  • Complete hands-on specimen handling focused on driving and monitoring conditions

Required Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License and active personal or commercial auto insurance
  • Reliable, climate-controlled personal vehicle (sedan, SUV, crossover, or van)
  • Ability to obtain military base installation access passes for Holloman AFB and Fort Bliss via background check
  • Successful completion of online HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) training prior to start
  • Fluent English speaking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in logistics or delivery
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License
