Job Summary
The Federal Work Study Student Leader provides essential support to multiple areas of the Student Solutions department that includes document imaging, customer service, call center assistance for incoming and outbound calls, and assistance with departmental projects. This position is ideal for a student who is passionate about the University of West Georgia, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys being part of a student-centered team.
Responsibilities
  • As needed, scan, upload, and organize student records using Xtender and related platforms
  • As needed, assist with records retention requirements for student record documents and file maintenance
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist with Outbound call campaigns
  • Route calls appropriately and provide accurate information
  • Learn and utilize institutional platforms required for customer service support, processing tasks, or documenting student interactions
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or director

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a UWG student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • Must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
