Job description

Window Dispatcher

Transdev in Fulton County, GA is hiring a Window Dispatcher. Our Window Dispatcher ensures the Dispatch team fills all the routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee road service and trip performance measures, i.e. route start time, on-time performance, incidents
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns about no shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
  • Manage vehicle operator emergency situations & escalated calls.
  • Manage department reports and other communication tools.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of transit experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not

authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

  • Work alone and in remote locations.
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Push and pull objects up to 20 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
