As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Saint Joseph, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a food and beverage environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support facility operations by reporting suspicious behavior, assisting with traffic and visitor direction, and following post orders related to sanitation-sensitive and high-activity work areas.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
