About the Role

Our team includes psychologists, therapists, speech-language pathologists, ABA professionals, medical providers, and occupational therapists who work together to support children, adolescents, and families across a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs.
We're looking for a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing Logan clinic. This is an opportunity to work with a collaborative team while helping children develop the skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities. If you're passionate about sensory processing, self-regulation, motor development, and family-centered care, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for sensory processing, fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, activities of daily living (ADLs), and overall functional performance
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's strengths, needs, and goals
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions focused on sensory processing, self-regulation, motor coordination, daily living skills, and functional independence
  • Design and adapt therapeutic activities, exercises, and equipment to support developmental progress and client success
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families through consistency, professionalism, compassion, and respect for individual sensory and communication needs
  • Communicate assessment results, treatment recommendations, and progress clearly with parents and caregivers
  • Collaborate closely with psychologists, speech-language pathologists, ABA providers, medical professionals, educators, and other members of the care team
  • Facilitate referrals and coordinate care with outside providers and community resources when appropriate
  • Complete documentation, treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and other required records in a timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, payer requirements, and professional best practices
  • Participate in team meetings, training opportunities, and interdisciplinary case collaboration

What You Bring
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Utah Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure in Utah
  • NBCOT certification, or eligibility to sit for the examination
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification after hire
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and neurodiverse clients

Nice to Have:
  • Experience working with children on the autism spectrum
  • Training or experience in sensory integration therapy
  • Familiarity with ADHD, developmental delays, executive functioning challenges, and other neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of educational systems and school-based supports

Compensation & Flexibility
  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications
  • Part-time schedule with flexibility in days and hours
  • Opportunity to grow caseload based on availability and clinic needs
  • Administrative support for scheduling, billing, and insurance coordination
  • Access to a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment

Benefits
Part-time employees may be eligible for abbreviated benefits including:
  • 401(k) with 3% company match, fully vested after 6 years
  • Tuition discount through Capella University
  • Continuing education opportunities and professional development support
  • Discounted CE training through ComfortFit
  • Monthly group trainings and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • 5 paid holidays for part-time employees
  • PTO paid at billable rate, based on eligibility and tenure
  • Flexible unpaid personal time off
  • Professional liability insurance (1M/3M) covered by NBCG
  • Optional monthly team dinners and annual social events

Why NBCG?
At NBCG, we believe the best outcomes happen when professionals work together. Our occupational therapy team is an integral part of a highly collaborative team that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and compassionate care. You'll have opportunities to consult across disciplines, expand your clinical skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients and families we serve.
