Job Summary:
Village Caregiving in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position where the caregiver will work independently to assist clients in their homes. The individual in this role will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they care for, promoting independence and improving overall quality of life.
Compensation & Benefits:
The In Home Caregiver position at Village Caregiving offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $20 per hour DOE, paid on a semi-monthly basis. This role also offers the opportunity for flexible scheduling . Additionally, the selected candidate will receive ongoing training and support as they work towards providing the highest level of care to clients.

Responsibilities:
• Provide in-home care and support to clients, including but not limited to assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Follow individual care plans and update as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in client's behavior or condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Clear background check 
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of personal care, hygiene, and nutrition.
