Job description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill a Days Part-Time position for a Resident Assistant.

PT Day shift

No Experience necessary, training provided to all staff.

We are currently in need of a Direct Support Professional to help provide services for individuals with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, severe anxiety and depression, as well as Down syndrome. While the position will include cleaning chores, we're looking for candidates who are willing to go above and beyond by helping individuals with their personal hygiene. This may include assistance with personal hygiene tasks, helping them dress or even running daily errands.

A day in the life of a Direct Support Professional can look like:

  • Provide support, skill training and therapeutic instruction to persons served
  • Develop, maintain, increase, or maximize an individual's independence in self-care, physical, mental, and emotional health and development.
  • You will provide quality services that promote socialization, community inclusion, leisure, and communication skills,
  • Work closely with persons served, their families, P.I. staff and community individuals to achieve quality outcomes.
