Physical Therapist (PT) – Pediatric Outpatient ClinicPart-Time | Cynergy Rehab Group

Your Role in Action

As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient pediatric clinic, you will lead the evaluation and treatment process for children with a variety of diagnoses. You’ll combine clinical expertise with creativity to develop individualized plans of care and guide patients and families toward meaningful functional outcomes.

Your typical day may include:

  • Performing comprehensive initial evaluations and re-evaluations to assess strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and overall functional abilities

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (Plan of Care) based on clinical findings, physician referrals, and patient/family goals

  • Providing 1:1, play-based therapy sessions using evidence-based and child-centered approaches

  • Treating children with a range of conditions including developmental delays, orthopedic injuries, neurological diagnoses, and genetic disorders

  • Progressing and modifying interventions based on patient response and measurable outcomes

  • Supervising and collaborating with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to ensure effective and consistent care delivery

  • Recommending, monitoring, and adjusting adaptive equipment and orthotics as needed

  • Educating and coaching parents/caregivers on home programs and strategies to support carryover outside the clinic

  • Completing timely and compliant electronic documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (OT, SLP, clinic staff) to provide coordinated, whole-child care

  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
