Job Summary
Ashland Community and Technical College invites applications for our part-time CDL adjunct faculty pool.
These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed when regular full-time faculty are not available due to increased enrollment, workload, or scheduling: days, evenings, weekends. Classes are face-to-face only.
Job Duties:
Teaching assistant to help with instruction on-the-range and over-the-road activities and may do tutoring for students as needed. Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice in the particular area of instruction. Maintains classroom order and discipline.
Qualified applicants may be contacted for an interview and asked to submit further documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Commercial Driver's License -Experience and demonstrated competencies in commercial transportation. Must hold current Kentucky Class A CDL License. Must have CDL driving experience; prefer a minimum of two (2) years. Preference will be given to applicants with experience as a classroom, road and range Class A CDL instructor.
High School diploma or equivalency.
